L-Aspartic Acid (L-Asp)

Amino acid used in the biosynthesis of proteins.

Varsal’s L-Aspartic Acid facilities can produce pyrogen-free USP grade products packaged in a clean-room. Requirements for particle size can be customized.

SORBIC ACID

Sorbic acid and its salts are often used as preservatives in food and drinks to prevent the growth of mold, yeast, and fungi.

Varsal’s Sorbic Acid facilities can produce FCCIV grade products packaged in a clean-room. Requirements for impurities can be customized.

8-Nonenoic acid

8-Nonenoic acid is a carboxylic acid that is used as a building block in a variety of applications.

9-Decenoic acid

9-Decenoic acid is used in a variety of flavors and fragrances applications, including to impart earthy tropical nuances in fragrances, and to instill creamy notes in milk and milk chocolate products.

L-Proline

L-proline is a natural amino acid that has many applications, including: taste enhancer for artificial sweeteners and organic acids, pharmaceutical reference standard to determine analytes in formulations, aid for healthy skin, additive to growth medium to increase plant growth, bifunctional catalyst that acts as a Lewis base and Bronsted acid type catalyst, analog to study cellular metabolism and macromolecule synthesis and analog to tune the biological, pharmaceutical, or physiochemical properties of peptides.
